Picnic in the Park - Amicalola Falls

Explore lush and scenic Amicalola Falls State Park and the numerous hiking trails that wind their way through the beautiful North Georgia mountains, one of which leads to Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. We'll have a picnic nearby the towering 729-foot Amicalola Falls, the tallest waterfall in Georgia and the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. You can then explore the reflecting pool and the lower and upper observation platforms, giving everyone a chance to take beautiful photos of the falls and the breathtaking mountain views that will surround you.
